A day at Sampark can mean many things. It could mean talking with a 14-year-old girl to understand her hygiene issues at school or it could be discussing new teaching methods for the tribes along with the Education ministry.
But much of our work is all but invisible. Like say, securing funding for immunization programmes for then setting up structures for effective emergency response. Plus there’s the vital task of building alliances with local communities, national bodies and international foundations.
So the work is action-packed in a sense, but without all the drama.
